To provide learning opportunities for individuals who want to earn their high school equivalency or high school diploma, or enhance their skills for potential career advancement. To provide classes for members of our community to learn English as a second language. To constantly strive to collaborate with our community partners to gain access to career training and certifications.
OUR VALUES

HS Diplomas at WAE
Which option is right for you? Both the High School Completion Diploma (GED) and the High School Credit Diploma are great options for students. You receive a diploma for each as well as a graduation ceremony. Watch this video to learn more about the GED, or click on the button to learn more about the 24 credit diploma.

Three Choices
Your goals are our goals!
We offer two different paths for those going for their high school diploma; competency or credit. If learning English as a second language is important to you, we have excellent teachers to help with that. Our direct classes, wide-ranging from art to computer skills, offer ways for you to explore different subjects without judgement.
All three of these options are available to registered students.
STEP 4
TABE ASSESSMENT
REQUIRED to establish entering levels in English, math, and reading. Results determine placement options.

STEP 2
REQUIRED ORIENTATION
Attend 40-minute orientation to schedule registration appointment. We will go over our different programs and student expectations.
ORIENTATION SURVEY
STEP 5
COUNSELOR APPOINTMENT
At this meeting, student will go over placement options, student strengths, and credits.
DIPLOMA OPTIONS
STEP 3
REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT
Bring required paperwork, including proof of residency and HSE form (if applicable), start TABE testing.
· $75 registration fee due at time of appointment
